Robert “Bobby” E. Mingione, Jr., 57 of Temperance, MI, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018, in his home, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Born December 30, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Robert E. and Carolyn A. (Summers) Mingione. Bobby attended Bedford High School. He was employed by Libbey Glass and several construction companies. He was a jack of all trades and loved woodworking. Over the years, Bobby had made several special gifts which will be cherished.
He is survived by his loving children, Brian (Racheal) Mingione and Cherie Mingione; parents, Robert and Carolyn Mingione; sisters, Deborah Mingione and Cynthia (James “my brother”) Beauregard; grandchildren, Anthony, Nadia, Aana, Nevaeh, Emiliegh and Alex; nieces, Nicole and Mandi; nephew, Little Brian and former brother-in-law, Steve “Vato” Bucchieri. Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney, who passed away 15 years ago from cancer.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday, April 23, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Temperance, MI. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Promedica Hospice, Monroe, MI.
